NAME: Miles Edgeworth
SERIES: Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright)
HISTORY:
He is also a perfectionist. He likes everything and everyone to be proper in appearance and looks down on anyone who defies this. Though, his desire for order is more than the norm (I can relate though), it is not as entirelybatshitcrazy insane as that of the von Karmas.
When he sees that you are in need of help, no doubt he will help you...as long as you deserve it.
SAMPLE
A young man with a cravat worn around his neck arrived at a hotel, checking the time on his golden wristwatch. He sighed with relief as he entered the doors and looked around the hotel's lobby.
It seems quite as luxurious as it had promised. He told himself as he dragged his magenta-colored stroller towards the reception area. He quickly rang the tiny bell on the desk in front of him and called for the receptionist. Strangely, no one seemed to be around.
Suddenly, his suspicion began to rise. Just where was everyone? Surely, it could not have only been him that had come to this hotel. After all, it WAS a hotel. This place should have been brimming with noises and busybodies of all shapes and sizes. But there was no one in the lobby.
Had he any other choice, he would have had to investigate this matter nonetheless. As he had attempted to leave through the hotel entrance, the doors were shut tight. It was as if someone didn't want him to leave the hotel.
Is this a trap? Have I been foolishly tricked? Could someone be after me? Hmph, no surprises there.
There was something going on and he had to find out. If his friend was here, surely, he would have stuck his nose in this matter in the blink of an eye, along with his noisy sidekick.

NAME: Miles Edgeworth

HISTORY:
Miles Edgeworth, son of the great defense attorney Gregory Edgeworth, only aspires to be as great as his father in his job. With this in mind, even in his childhood does he take his father's sense of justice into account by saving a classmate who was wrongfully accused of theft. Due to that event, the young Edgeworth developed a bond with two unlikely people, who would eventually save his life in the future.
Because of an accident, young Edgeworth lost his father and gained a deathly fear of earthquakes. This event had also caused him to become the ruthless prosecutor he is, when the suspected murder was unbelievably set free before his eyes. After the accident, he was raised by his mentor, who taught him the ways of the prosecutor to always get a guilty verdict.
He became a prosecutor, at the age of 20, dealing with his first case.
Fast forward fours years later, he finally meets face to face his childhood friend in court. It was the boy who was accused of theft. He had become a defense attorney, whom Edgeworth would not have realized until later as his rival. After losing to his friend in a trial, Edgeworth's desire to get a guilty verdict grew stronger and he continually attempted to thwart his rival but to no avail. He simply could not lose to his friend.
Soon he ended up being in a case, not as a prosecutor, but as a suspect in a murder where he finds himself asking for help from his childhood friend. After being free from suspicion, Edgeworth could not help but change his attitude towards his rival. Edgeworth decided to help his friend whenever he was in need, no matter how great.
Edgeworth set off on a journey in another location, in order to find himself. After finding an invitation to a rather swanky hotel upon his bedside table, he decided that it might be the perfect opportunity for him to learn a little more about things.

He may appear as cold, blunt, and condescending but this is only because he sees it difficult to trust people, after not trusting anyone for a long time. His past had caused him to close up to people and, thus, he is unsure of how to act around people and may have tendency to say something offensive or disturbing (in terms of how silly it sounds).
